Version 1.12 released

We are excited to announce the release of AutoScript for TEM version 1.12. This quarterly update continues to bring a range of small improvements and bug fixes to enhance your experience.

What’s new:

  • Bi-prism controls
  • Beam stop control
  • Enhanced toolkit
  • Python upgraded to 3.11

We encourage all AutoScript users to download and upgrade to version 1.12 to take advantage of these exciting new features, improvements, and bug fixes. AutoScript for Transmission Electron Microscopes:

The cutting-edge software that empowers TEM users to create automated data analysis, customizable workflows, and enhanced by seamless integration with your microscope, enabling you to achieve faster, more accurate results.

  • Scripting environment combining Python API with the Python editor. Python 3.11.
  • Optional Offline mode provides simulation of microscope behavior. Scripts can be tested offline on user PC before going to microscope.  If you are interested, please check with your account managers for the quote.
  • Access to the microscope controls
    • STEM Detectors (insert, retract, gain, offset, individual segments)
    • Optics (mode, beam shift, tilt, magnification, rotation, …)
    • Monochromator (deflectors, focus)
    • Stage (movement, position read-out) including piezo stage
    • Apertures (including bi-prism and beam stop)
    • Vacuum (state), column valves controls
    • Lorentz mode support
    • Acquisition (camera and detector control, single image or a sequence, simultaneous acquisition from multiple detectors or segments)

System Requirements:

  • Thermo Scientific Spectra or Talos system with Windows 10 operating system
  • Themis/Spectra/Krios SW: 3.13-3.23.x/ Talos SW: 2.13-2.23.x.
